![]() It also appears that Amazon Photos had not backed up a bunch of photos that have been on my Mac for a long time. I had a chat with Amazon support yesterday to ask why the application is being so ungraceful, but (as expected), after four different reps by chat, and one on the phone, I got no answers. (Web browsing and email don't seem to be affected much.) Slows my Mac so much that I can't get it to print anything. The level bounces around, sometimes as low as 80-85%, but typically well above 100%. This morning the application said it was still doing backups, but appeared to have stopped, so I quit and restarted it. Activity Monitor showed Amazon Photos using a lot of CPU time. ![]() A couple of weeks ago I added a bunch of old photos I'd not had on this Mac.Ī couple of days ago I noticed that the MBP was running slowly. I've got it set up to backup my Pictures folder. The Amazon Photos application has been on my MBP for some time.
